2. Licensing and Regulatory Compliance

Albert L. Celeste is licensed as a Public Adjuster by the New York State Department of Financial Services (DFS) pursuant to New York Insurance Law § 2108. All public adjuster services are provided in accordance with applicable New York State laws and regulations, including but not limited to the provisions of New York Insurance Law Article 21 and the regulations of the New York State Department of Financial Services.

This website is operated by Albert L. Celeste, a sole proprietorship. Albert L. Celeste is also licensed as a real estate salesperson in New York State. Real estate services are provided separately and are not related to public adjuster services unless otherwise specified in a written agreement.

 

3. Fees and Compensation

Public adjuster fees are governed by New York Insurance Law and applicable DFS regulations. In accordance with New York law, public adjuster compensation shall not exceed the maximum percentage permitted by regulation of the total amount of any claim settlement. All fees are disclosed in and governed by the written public adjuster contract executed prior to the commencement of services.

Prospective clients have the right to cancel a public adjuster contract without penalty by midnight of the third business day following the date on which the contract was signed, in accordance with New York law.

 

4. No Guarantee of Results

Past results described on this website, including client testimonials and settlement outcomes, are provided for illustrative purposes only. They do not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or prediction of the outcome of any future claim. Every insurance claim is different. Results depend on the specific facts of the loss, the terms of the applicable insurance policy, the insurer involved, and other factors that vary from claim to claim.
